Antwon's the smallest name listed, but worth checking out. He's definitely one of the top ones I'm looking forward to.

Supposedly the fest is going to be 2pm doors/3pm show. I've been thinking noon-2pm lunch. Unfortunately Wurstkuche is beer only, but I can suggest good bloody mary/mimosa places if you're looking for that as well.

Not to be missed,) Chelsea Wolfe (Dark, ominous music with a strong melodic bent and great live performance,) METZ (a throwback to pigfuck bands from the 80s and 90s, sounds kinda like The Jesus Lizard with ADD, and a great live show to boot,) Mikal Cronin (Insanely catchy and well-written garage pop, he plays in Ty Segall's band and put out one of the best albums of the year,) Charles Bradley (he started as a James Brown impersonator and has definitely taken a page from his former career in his newer endeavors) and Eleanor Friedberger (One of the two creative forces behind The Fiery Furnaces, who write (wrote?) great fractured pop music. If she's anything like her former band, her set will be her performing a gigantic medley of her songs without pause for the entire time. The Furnaces were excellent, and in large because of her crazy personality.)

He puts an incredible amount of emotion into his performances. My favorite set of Sasquatch 2012.

I hope it's Simon & Simon but would be fine with Simpsons or Seinfeld, or even SNL, Survivor or South Park. As long as it's not Star Trek or Sex and the City...

Yes, I can't imagine the horror of having to look at or reference a stage name from a show I'm not fond of for 2 days.

^ Just FYI Eleanor's solo stuff/live show is nothing like the Fiery Furnaces.

I agree with Jorge, though, that her set will undoubtedly be fantastic; I saw her at The Echo a few months ago and she did a nice mix of songs from both of her albums, and the backing band was pretty ace too.

As for recommendations from the bottom lines, I'm pretty excited for Hose Meat Disco, Glasser (hopefully she plays some new material), and Mac DeMarco.

You don't understand... it's gonna totally kill their vibe if My Bloody Valentine is playing on the KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN stage!

You've obviously never been to a festival which uses purposefully confusing stage names. Bonnaroo has "What" stage, "Which" stage, "That" tent, "This" tent, "the other" tent. The whole weekend is like one agonizingly long prolonged re-telling of Who's On First as people struggle to explain which stage they are going to.

Even if 'Roo stages had "normal" names I'm sure many attendees would still have trouble finding their way around.

Can i imagine looking a map, realizing what the names of the 5 stages are, and then looking at a schedule for a couple of days? Yes, I can imagine that, and it doesn't really bother me at all.
