These are all just educated guesses, by the way.
A curveball sounds exciting. I don't live in LA but have attended the past two years' FYFs because it's been a great spot to catch the hardcore and punk band reunions of the past few years my area tends to miss out on as well as the indie-ish bands who also don't travel near where I live. There haven't really been any outstanding reunion stories from the past year, though, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up that the upcoming lineup will be remarkable enough to make travel out to LA for a third time consecutive year.
Edit: already posted. Sorry.

Coachella 07 (the introduction), 08 (the bands), 09 (the documentary), 10 (the people i came with), 11 (the relationship test... we passed), 12 (whatever the weather, Dirty Epic forever), 13 (the year of the troll)
- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
So, tickets will be $99 for the weekend pass, $65 limited single day tickets and go on sale this Thursday?
honestly that increase is not necessarily bad news.
11/21 - Pearl Jam - Viejas Arena
While I enjoyed paying $77 last year, $99 for an awesome two day fest is still not bad at all.
Can't wait to see who is playing this when the lineup drops tomorrow.
It could definitely mean a bigger name of a headliner or just overall bigger acts, but if it just means a lineup as consistent as the past few years -- I wouldn't say it's not worth it, but my wallet would make a sad face.
The FB users aren't going to be happy.
C'mon, nobody even mentions when Coachella raises their ticket prices to $349, but an extra $22 for FYF gets criticized?
Nope, same crowd that feels their entertainment should be free.
Side thought, anyone think Henry Rollins might be there in the comedy tent?
What if they book NIN? What. If.
Would explain the price jump and increase in secrecy, to me. Two weekends after OSL, NIN only doing festivals at the moment with no LA area appearance announced? Couple it with NIN not being ready for Coachella and the new Goldenvoice/FYF partnerships.
/lol, k I'm bored. Tis crazy don't actually respond to that with logic.
Hologram set from Paris and the UK?
The curveball will make this increase justifiable.

"don't actually respond to that with logic" fucktard
Yeah yeah, San Bernardino giant amphitheater and other shit everyone has been saying. Find a cock and actually say something of worth.
Enjoy your morning refreshing all your sites so you can race to be the first one to post the lineup.
Wait, does Supre know what the curve ball headliner is and just isn't telling us? THAT'S KIND OF A DICK MOVE AND VERY UNCHARACTERISTIC.
