I'll second that. Tom and I got a really good spot for Dwight and he just slayed. Guy's an extremely talented performer.
What country act is overdue for their Stagecoach debut? Dolly?
I just dug around a bit on their site. (TicklemeElmo mentioned this)...I can't belive y'all aren't talking about the fact that they completely eliminated tent and car camping from Stagecoach. It's been replaced with a hookup-only RV resort instead for RV owners only. I'm super curious as to why...
Lots of pissed off hillbillies over der.
Probably RV only so rapes occur in privacy
That is a really wild change to rules to make without any kind of explanation.
10/22/14 - TV On The Radio @ Regent // 11/9/14 - Bad Religion @ Mayan // 11/14/14 - Death From Above 1979 @ Regent // 11/16/14 - Lucero @ Echo
Why should they explain themselves, its their business. All those people are still going to the festival, and they know it.
I don't understand what 'no rental RVs' means. Does that mean someone can't rent an RV in Bakersfield, or wherever, and drive it to the polo grounds? Are they gonna ask to see the title and registration at the gates? Or does it just mean GV is not renting RVs?
I love this year's line-up. I seem to be in the minority. Yee haw!
so since golden voice is ripping off stagecoach does that mean theyre investing in coachella instead this year??
Check out the RV page. And yeah, it has to be in your name. You have to own it. They also ask if anyone coming has been convicted of a felony. Theyre trying to take out the rapists.....
Part of the RV policy
PLEASE BE ADVISED: No vehicles other than the RV you are sleeping in are allowed into the campground. This includes any vehicle not towing a trailer/5th wheel. If you leave, there are no RV ins/outs regardless if you have a campsite or not. If you're towing a trailer/5th wheel and decide to unhook and drive that vehicle outside of camping, it will not be allowed back into camping. It must be parked in the companion vehicle lot (if space is still available). This is for the safety of all campers.
No RVs will be allowed into the campgrounds outside of campground hours.
There is absolutely NO re-entry. If you leave the grounds with your RV, you will not be allowed back onto the grounds.
You must present a valid RV RESORT pass in order to park your RV in the campgrounds.
Everyone in the RV must have on their valid festival wristband and camping pass that will be scanned upon entry into the camping perimeter. If anyone is found in the campgrounds without a valid festival wristband and camping pass, they will be escorted off of the grounds.
You may not park a vehicle other than your RV in your camping space unless that vehicle is towing a non-motorized RV (ex: 5th-Wheel). Your RV must fit into a 20x50 spot. If any part of your RV does not fit into your space you will be required to adjust or possibly remove your RV from the campgrounds.
NO Wrapped / Sponsored Vehicles. Your RV/Trailer/Vehicle will be turned away at the Toll Booth if it has Ads / Marketing / Sponsors / Company Logos on it. No branded / logo'd easy ups or tents allowed.
Golf carts, dune buggies, off road motorcycles, segways, horses, etc of any kind will not be allowed on the premises, or in companion parking. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Yeah, the people on that forum are CRYING like nobodies business. They are asking why Coachella gets to keep its camping and they dont. Fucking learn how to behave and you wont get fucked.
and my bloody valentine
So has ragecoach became familycoach?
Do you think the event will end up catering to wealthier families that already own RVs?
o ya, who gives a fuck
Having been to this festival three times, my best guess for why they are eliminating tent/car camping is to avoid all the rowdiness on the polo grounds. The only thing I don't like about Stagecoach are the crowds.
