Stone Roses only really have 2 albums, have headlined international festivals, and still skip most of the last disc.

All in all, its not happening anyway, so we should stop beating a dead horse for now....... Its not that it wouldn't ''work'' It's just that maybe GV doesnt feel they ''need'' them to play/headline. Lolla will have them for sure, Outside Lands, Sasquatch, and probably ACL too.

I'm with Suprefan on this. Plus, their set in 2011 was boring. No need to bring them back anytime soon.

LONDON—According to sources close to the English folk-rock quartet Mumford and Sons, the band’s members were surprised to discover during their annual Christmas gift exchange Wednesday that they had all gotten each other new mandolins. “I love my mandolin so much that I decided this was the year to introduce Ted [Dwane], Ben [Lovett], and Winston [Marshall] to this wonderful instrument,” said lead singer and guitarist Marcus Mumford, whose bandmates confirmed they each independently decided to buy each other mandolins with the exact same thought in mind. “To be honest, I thought at least some of the 12 mandolin-shaped packages would turn out to be banjos, dobros, or buzuqs when we unwrapped them. But I can’t say I’m disappointed when I think about the amazing sound we could create with this many mandolins.” Mumford added that the coincidence was at least an improvement over last year’s exchange, when each of the four musicians went home with three copies of the band’s debut EP, Love Your Ground.

This thread is predicated on the idea that Mumford and Sons are "possible headliners" because of anonymous speculation by nobody that they could be headliners.

Any time a band gets KROQ notoriety music snobs label them as "bad". KROQ also plays a lot of Rage, NIN and Radiohead. Get over it. Mumford is catchy pop folk that's easy on the ears and different enough from anything else that's out there in the limelight. I've been to bluegrass festivals and heard much better than Mumford yes, but that doesn't make them "bad".

If Kings of Leon and their lack of anything emotional on stage can headline so can Mumford.

I agree. But you're not going to get 3 huge headliners. So put Mumford, Phoenix, eminem and the killers in a group and pick your poison. especially if GV booked the Stones. They're going to take a significant chunk out of the budget. Just being realistic is all.

With the money GV has made, I can see this being the year they have the three huge headliners. If anything, we may see Mumford in a 2011 Strokes slot next to the headliner. Mumford may headline at Bonnaroo or even OSL, but I just don't see it happening at Coachella.

The headliner was Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg. The two combined, not just Dre is what it read on the poster.

Snoop = 11 Solo Albums, 4 Collaboration Albums
Dr. Dre = 2 Solo Albums, 3 Collaborative Albums (NWA)

Total = 20 Albums.
