"Diarrhea Planet is a six-piece rock and roll band from Nashville, TN. Their sound has often been described as The Ramones holding Van Halen hostage with an arsenal of fireworks and explosives. Diarrhea Planet's four guitarists provide enough riffs to make Jack Black squeal like a schoolgirl, while lead singer Hodan delivers enough hooks to straighten the curl out of Justin Timberlake's hair. In a world of unintelligible lo-fi recording, reverb drenched vocals, and tuneless guitars, Diarrhea Planet aims to put the backbone back into rock and roll."

Diarrhea Planet is a straight up party power pop punk band that plays with 4 guitarists. The live show has an Andrew W.K. feel too it that is sure to leave a smile on your face. They are currently touring west of the Mississippi for the first time ever and will be releasing a split with Titus Andronicus hopefully late this year or early next year. The split will have TA's track Upon Viewing Oregon's Landscape With the Flood of Detritus on one side.

This is exactly the type of band I want to wake up to in an early tent slot at Coachella. Book them and the party is sure to follow.

I used to host a podcast a few years ago and "ghost with a boner" was my pick of the week one time.

Then last year while my band and i were in austin for sxsw, getting hammered at a random billiard hall where bands were playing... All of a sudden the band in question rips into "ghost with a boner". Twas diarrhea planet. Pretty random, pretty great. I vote yes
