Right after the lineup is announced, some time in January. Although rumour has it that the tickets are already almost gone, and getting them at the regular onsale will be extremely difficult. I recommend keeping an eye on the message board for people that need/want to unload their passes after they see the lineup.

If you get online the second they go on sale you'll have a decent shot. Once they sell out...which won't take long...it's ebay and stubhub where expect to pay about double.

trying to get a ticket via this message board is difficult...and sketchy.

stubhub is your best bet as they guarantee your ticket is official

I just do not get it. How can people pay an assload of money for a festival that does not have an official lineup???? I am so happy that I was able to experience Coachella back in 2009 when single day passes were an option. GV...you greedy fucks. Fuck you.

Travel packages are less than $1,000 and will be available for weeks/months after the on sale. Are Daft fans that desperate to see show #1 of the new tour?

It doesn't matter who's on the lineup (except Zeppelin). With enough time, effort, and common sense, anybody can find a legitimate ticket to the festival and not have to pay gouged prices for it.
