    Seems silly to start a thread for every city. I'm going to Cleveland for work this week. Hear there's actually quite an emerging restaurant scene there. Any recommendations?

    Congenial answer: despite living less than an hour away, I pretty much never get to go up there and don't know a lot of restaurants. Everyone raves about Melt, so maybe check that out.

    My gf from Cleveland says Melt is amazing, she also says the rock n roll hall of fame is good, but I am weary about that

    Ohio is big on Polish, Czech, Ukrainian and Hungarian foods. I remember Balaton being pretty good. Also, Perogi Palace in West Side Market. If you want a more foodie-type scene, Lolas and The Greenhouse Tavern were pretty awesome.

    You left out Croatian. The Cleveland Croatians have this little grilled sausage that I can't spell but is worth going to Cleveland for.

    Oh, right you are. I guess I saw that as more of a thread for people planning vacations whereas this might serve more as a business traveler's thread. As in, my boss gave me 48 hours notice that I was headed to Cleveland or I've got an 8 hour layover in Chicago type of thread.
