Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
2011 Perfectchella.
Beautiful timelapses - I loved the shooting star they got with the opening shot. Definitely a large bro presence will be there...but MiMOsa, Sugarpill, Lynx and Madeon are some really awesome highlights of the lineup.
The mixing of the fireworks sound into the trailer is fucking lame though.
I like LBL, madeon, and deadmau5, tons of solid electronic/jam bands, and the undercard is awesome (griz, salva, sugarpill, ana sia, ill gates, and break science to name a few). Gonna get weird in the snow

Nobody Beats The Drum were phenomenal at Sasquatch. Poolside is great chill nudisco.
Are Beats Antique and Chromeo the official festival whores of 2012?
And will Deadmau5 (unhooked) be even better than a regular Deadmau5 show?

unhooked means no touring stage which means (correct me if i'm mistaken) that he is able to do more live manipulation in a set than he normally would be due to him working with a preset light show. So take that for what its worth.

Oh heeeeey there cabin packages. 1899? That's so cheap.
I like the lineup. I really like Lake Tahoe.
I think I might go to this. New Years in Tahoe would be a great time.
If you end up deciding on this, lets share a cabin! I'm pretty excited about the lineup, plus some snowboarding for the new years wouldn't be bad either
I have my eye on this

beautiful location, but the lineup could be cut and pasted from any event over the last two years. but wow what a beautiful location
Rhythm is a dancer.
For people who have gone before or know Tahoe, is pretty much any hotel in town close to a shuttle stop?
The hotels are so expensive :/. I really want to see a Deadmau5 unhoowed set.

Highly considering this. Missed out on it last year. Been to Tahoe for NYE several times and loved it but to do it in a music festival in the snow is a whole new thing. Although last year there wasn't really any real snow.
It's either this in Tahoe or stay in SF for A-Trak or something.

Might be doing this if I can find fair affordable housing (cabin or hotel)
The Motel 6 is fairly cheap especially if you have a group of 3-4 people to share a room with you. That's where I stayed last year for SnowGlobe and I'm doing the same thing this year. Plus it's only a couple blocks from one of the shuttle stops, and 1.5 miles from the venue.
Individual tickets went on sale for this
