When you've reached a point where you're offering bribes to the Coachella facebook trying to dig up lineup information, it's time to stop.

To actually answer the "why" part of the question other than the obvious that there is no "reunited NIN," at least as of yet... because The Killers and Muse have new product out now, and it's unclear when or even if NIN will have anything. And because, soundtrack music aside, NIN hasn't put out a record that anyone except NIN fanboys has given a shit about since 1999, which will be 15 years or nearly a generation in 2014, the next year they might theoretically headline.
I'm so sure that the Killers and Muse are headlining that I will fucking explain myself.

wouldn't it be lulz if someone went to meme generator and got a pic of a shark jumping out of the water to read,
AAAAARRRRGGGGGHH
CONFIRMED
and then posted it on Coachella fb and then posted said pic posted in this thread -- someone who had nothing better to do?
lul, lovers.
it might be worth it to reactivate my facebook just to read coachellas page these next two months. oh so much fun.
Hasn't Supre always been clueless?
Can I just inquire as to what you're going to do when your oft-proclaimed headlining troika of Muse/RHCP/The Killers doesn't materialize? And this is a serious question - do you just delete your account? Not post again? Make a bunch of excuses as to why it didn't happen? I'm just wondering what drives a person to continually come on here and spout a bunch of nonsense which can absolutely be either proven or disproven.

Agreed and it's very interesting that the only west coast date is the previously announced San Diego show. I am assuming the other west coast shows get announced in January.
Oh and while I'm here it appears as though Of Monsters & Men is confirmed. Someone on the Bonnaroo boards wrote their manager/agent/whoever and asked if OM&M would be at Bonnaroo, Coachella and/or Lolla. They wrote back:
"Hi Benji -
The band played Lolla last year and will not be on that one. Chances are good that they will be on both of the others.
Best,
Heather"

So it sounds like they're doing Coach and Bonnaroo.
Oh no, I get that he's someone's alias. I'm just wondering what the hell happens to the alias when it's outlived its usefulness? Seriously, when the lineup drops and it's not Muse/RHCP/The Killers, does MotorAve just go dark? It's an awful lot of work to put into something so sad.
