People have complained about the lineup every year. Go back and read old threads from 2008 and 2009. There will always be someone who will bitch about something on the lineup.

Thats an annual tradition for sure, and has no bearing on festival in the end. CASE IN POINT - least complained about lineup I remember was 2010 - and that ended up being far and away my least favorite experience. The most complained about was probably 2008, and that ranks number one in all the years Ive gone

Experience =/= Lineup. The 2010 lineup was amazing. Had something for everybody. Stupid volcano tho.

Experience =/= Lineup. The 2010 lineup was amazing. Had something for everybody. Stupid volcano tho.

Agree. 2010 was an epic lineup (which would be a lot more expensive now - i.e., check out some of the small font bands http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archive...coachella.html) but a sub-optimal experience.

Beyond hardcore fans of a half dozen acts, I noticed a weird blasé attitude about the 2012 on this forum.

I forgot about the forum being down for awhile.
