Jay Electronica was fucking awful when I saw him. I'm all for rappers having the beat cut out and continuing to rhyme, then having the beat dropped back in, but he does this literally every fucking song. It's maddening.

I have never seen him, but I've seen some footage, and sometimes he's good, and other times he's been awful. He's so damn good at rapping, though. It scares me.

I'm praying for a Black Hippie set.

Seen it too many times. But I would love an Ab-Soul solo show.

So let me get this straight, LA has a radio station that still plays alt/indie rock? I'm shocked. The only rock music on the radio in NYC is a classic rock station that circulates the anthem, "Time of Your Life" by Green Day. What does KROQ play? Is it a range from Metallica to Passion Pit, or is it a bit more on the indie/pop side?

Yeah, man. KROQ is pretty okay, they have their locals only where they play a bunch of local acts (e.i. Local Natives, no pin intended)
98.7 sticks to more new alternative and what not. The othe day I heard Justice - On N' On playing. Got pretty excited. They also give out passes to coachella, which I have won only to be taken away because I had won something from them 50 days prior.
