Oh yeah I totally agree with you on that. I guess subbing behind Anthrax playing what I assume is an important album of theirs is good. They are definitely the best/only sub I've heard of on that lineup.

Yeah I'm not surprised Anthrax would be ahead of them, but I would have pictured them being legends by now. I was never that into the scene but all my friends were and I remember going to a couple of Hatebreed shows and holy shit... I'm not sure I've ever seen a crowd go that fucking nuts.

This is starting to wear thin. If they stretch this out to next week, and its some Blur/Phoenix/Red Hot Chili Peppers thing, it's going to really leave a bad taste in my mouth. Last few years the signs the lineup was coming were concrete and there was this air of excitement. This year it looks like they have made the decision to do way less of this, which is awesome if they then drop some pipedream like Prince/Bowie/Outkast or whatever, but all signs are pointing to at least a couple weak headliners, and the evidence against the big gets is mounting. Virtually all the undercard, from the subs down to the bottom line, are essentially self confirming by posting tour dates. We know at least half the lineup. It feels like they are just stringing people along and it is starting to suck.

I know my opinion doesn't matter, they have my money, I'll obviously still go, and I know by April I'll have a blast like I always do. But this year is starting to just produce bitterness and frustration pre-lineup, which I haven't felt the past few years. They better have something epic, I just feel like they don't.

The main reason Hatebreed doesn't get a lot of love is because they tow the line between metal and hardcore, and those scenes fucking hate each other for whatever reason.

...Back to that Jenny Lewis tease from Pitchfork, there are low chances for a Rilo Kiley appearance at Coachella regardless, right? I'd be pretty thrilled to see them reunited so I hope there is at least a tiny chance.
