I don't see coachella letting primavera sound sound release their lineup first right? Which comes out Wednesday it seems.. Maybe they just tell us about friday since sunday maybe in flux...

It's a battleground to win over the 4 or 5 people who are going to choose between these 2 festivals.

Primavera is not until Wed evening here, so a Wed morning announcement would still beat them to the punch.

I can't imagine the Primavera date is on GV's radar at all, though - apart from any reunions not looking as impressive if already announced to be playing elsewhere.

So I don't intend to rustle anyone's jimmies, but The Postal Service just updated their website. It would appear they are doing something in 2013. Whether or not this means we'll be seeing them in the lineup is still unconfirmed, but I'd consider it a likely possibility. I don't know anyone that goes to Coachella that wouldn't love seeing them...

They didn't flub anything. Morrissey is tooting his own horn every year he admits that Coachella tried to get The Smiths again. Rolling Stones were dubbed a garbage headliner the moment it was rumored, though we all tried to come to gribs and enjoy the possibility of them playing. At least wait until the lineup drops to bitch about it. Now we wait.

The only outlets GV needs to announce a lineup are Facebook and Twitter.

And as big of a deal as an inauguration can be, a re-inauguration isn't really much of one.

I'm not saying the announcement will come today, but I don't think these points make enough of a difference to keep it from happening today.
