I asked her on a whim if she knew when the lineup was coming out. She said that she thought it already was and was really surprised that it wasn't yet. I also asked if the Stones were playing and she said no. Take it for what it's worth

This from he guy who once said he walked into a bar filled with black people and walked right out or hypothetically would based on feeling awkward. I'm comfortable in my skin and I can discuss language and the use of words all day. Just because you don't find the word comfortable , does not mean it is a racist term or that it's ignorant to use. Sure it would be ignorant to walk up to a person and ignorantly call them "urban" but why would that even happen? Who would do something like that? If it's truly a racist term then teach me how this became the case historically?

I use the word because it's a funny word to me, it's also a music fest where people seem to be hypothesizing that we need a black artists on one of the nights headlining which is ridiculous in itself. By me saying an urban headliner i'm mocking those people and calling back urban music formats which actually opens it up from being "black" to any R&B, Hip Hop or Urban Contemporary artist.

You're taking this too far - I merely said it's not funny when you use the word. And it's not. Everyone's thinking it, I'm the only one who's said anything. The extent of your content over the past two weeks has been either "urban" or "January 23rd."

how the fuck are they just recently falling through with plans to get the Rolling Stones, shouldnt they of had that locked up 4 or 5 months ago since they are one of if not the hardest rock band out there to get these days and would be the biggest draw they could get next to daft punk, who will most likely be alive and kickin a decade from now or David Bowie who will most likely not perform any of his old stuff even if he does play. really scratching my head on this one especially when GV has dropped the ball like this in the past. You think they would of learned their lesson by now. get those headliners locked into place 4 or 5 months in advance and let everything else fall into place over the next months.

Stones didn't decide until Dec. whether or not they would do more shows

Yes, this lineup that none of us have seen yet is a salad spinner of fuck, likely resulting from Goldenvoice's monumental negligence and procrastination.

Thank god you spoke up. Everyone else must be so afraid of me and my words. You taught us all a good lesson today. Urban is unfunny and if you walk up to a black person and call them an "urban" in some hypothetical scenario the response will be violent and deserved.
