RFTC's website says pretty clearly "We are not playing the Indio Date festival", which is probably a poke at Coachella. Or they could be masters of sarcasm and actually end up playing. I guess we'll see in... how long...? I'd expect teasers to start coming pretty soon.

I've already confirmed that they weren't playing.. but no one cares about what I contribute to the board.. just don't be surprise when Allen Stone, Disclosure, Jessie Ware, and Simian Mobile Disco are on the line up next year.

Hey all again,

Yesterday I posted about contacting Thee Oh Sees' manager to see if they were planning to play Bonnaroo or Sasquatch. I got a response saying they were playing Sled Island and Coach. I posted that in this thread. Anyway, I got an email from Yeasayer's management that could possibly be interpreted as them playing Coachella. I couldn't get the guy to confirm though. Here's what was said:

"So far the band is only playing one music festival this summer and it's neither of those."

I responded asking if they could tell me which one. This was the reply:

"Can't say anything sorry or we don't get paid! I'm sure announcements will happen soon."

Take it for what you will. Happy festival!

Great info...They put on a seriously amazing show at the Neptune in Seattle last August. Would love to see in an evening Mojave slot.
