A) GV is scrambling to replace aheadliner that backed out
B) the headliners are going to be so huge they want to torture us for a bit longer than usual?

I think we are expecting something a week earlier than when GV planned to start "Rolling" (sorry it was too easy) out teasers/videos. Look for everything next week.

Last year was the earliest they have ever announced the lineup. My guess is that it is either going to be announced next week, like most of the previous years, or they just aren't doing videos...PsychicFriend made a sarcastic remark in one of the other threads about video posting dates, something like "I don't even remember that from last year", which I think was about the videos, which led me to believe that maybe they weren't doing them this year.

So when I search Rilo Kiley this page shows up but I don't want to look through 286 pages to see what was said....does anyone remember? I know they're album is coming out soon, it'd be fucking incredible if they were at coachella..

As much as I'd enjoy seeing them there, they broke up a while ago. It's true that they're coming out with a new album, but they're just old unreleased songs.

last year was my second year and the first paying attention to the site.
don't really have too much of a history going on with teases then.
i was just under the impression that the YYY show at the glass house was going to be a coachella sellout party for tollett.

The Tease videos last year started on the first Wednesday, with the lineup on the following Tuesday. This is what I have gathered from various board posts.

past lineup release dates:

2010 = Tues Jan 19th - third Tuesday of the month
2011 = Tues Jan 18th - third Tuesday of the month
2012 = Monday Jan 9th - second Monday of the month (thanks concertgoer)

2013 = Tues Jan 8th - Second Tuesday of the month <- First 'tease' video would have been posted already if so, right?
2013 = Tues Jan 15th - Third Tuesday of the month

so this year will be the 15th and videos will start Wednesday the 9th maybe?

So Bonnaroo has been giving out weird clues as to who is going to be on their lineup this year. They just posted a video of what looked like a bad imitation of The Prodigy's Fat of the Land cover which was reissued late 2012. Nice to know they are playing festivals again, they would be great going up against RHCP.

Last year it came out on the 9th and it was only a week earlier than the previous year.
