Totally
I saw RHCP at Bonnaroo last year and they were terrible. it's okay though because they aren't headlining Coachella thus year. My jokes of Lady Gaga and Beyonce are more likely to happen than the peppers.
Of course they are a big draw though, saw them again in Portland and Seattle too, and you can tell they don't care about their own music anymore. They were just going through the motions until they finished.
Jack white is a lot better now that he s not being dragged down by his fat sloppy drummer from the white stripes
I went for the day at Sasquatch last year to basically catch Jack White and he was great. I would be happy to watch him again. Quite a talent.

I saw them last summer in Oakland and I didn't think they totally sucked. The entire Oracle Arena was on their feet dancing throughout the concert from beginning to end. We had fun, and they only played about three songs from their crappy new album, so we got to hear the old songs that we actually wanted to hear. If they were to play Coachella, I'd be disappointed, but I have no doubt they would draw a big crowd and people would have a lot of fun at their set. There are things a lot worse than the RHCP.
All of you will be in the Mojave during RHCP anyways, so why does anybody care? They will play an hour and a half, tops, and GV will be smart and throw the music nerd gets on smaller stages during that slot. It will be fine and everybody will have a great night.
I have a great friend at LiveNation who comps me tickets to any non-sold out show I want to go to...if its sold out I just have to pay, but always get the artist/promoter seats, which are usually 5-10 rows up on the floor/100 level depending on how the show is configured (pit vs no pit). So I take advantage since my buddy doesn't care and it takes him 5 seconds to email my name to a list. I've seen almost every major show the last 4 years or so.
I only went to Bonnaroo because I had a relative performing and didn't want to miss them perform there. I wouldn't recommend that place to anybody. It's a piece of land that is either worn down to dust or the grass is overgrown like 8 inches. I ventured out to the campgrounds (didn't stay at the festival) to see what the accommodations were like and people were straight up sleeping in dust and dirt lol.

lmfao attracts a weird crowd, like a cross between candy kids, hipsters and jabawokeez.
