I'm now hearing from a primary lineup source that the Stones may be in, and the Killers possibly out. This shortly after hearing elsewhere that the Stones are booking dates in at least one other US location (not necessarily where you'd think) in April. I know they were not booking any future dates until they got through December, which may explain the last-minute switch, while Brandon Flowers' recent cancellations on two continents may have provided sufficient excuse. The source is sounding somewhat uncertain in general, which makes me question the rest of my lineup, but the uncertainty is claimed to be due to a situation in flux, and I think it's accurate to say that my lineup was verified by a second source, plus a third in the case of RHCP.

I said the Stones were not playing Coachella (ever) because:

A) Someone who knows Paul Tollett personally told me three headliners and one near-headliner-scale subheadliner, none of which were the Stones

B) Someone with a history of knowing the Stones' plans told me that they had not booked any shows for 2013, likely to be the final year of touring for them, and would not do so until after their December run was complete

Person A is now saying that the Stones may be added and the Killers may be out or demoted, so I am updating my information accordingly.

When Prince headlined over Portishead, and Mystery Artist replaced Black Sabbath, Goldenvoice was "backpedaling," right? Morons.

I was listening to Altnation on XM yesterday and Jake Fogelnest was saying that The Postal Service have some big exciting news that he wasn't allowed to announce yet.

I'm still skeptical that this announcement would be a Coachella appearance, but it lines up nicely.
