The Knife have announced that their long-awaited new album, Shaking the Habitual, is out April 8 internationally and April 9 in the U.S. on Rabid/Brille/Mute. Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer have also announced that they will tour Europe next year. Dates to be announced.

It's probably BS, but I will say that something similar happened with the FYF lineup this year and all the artists they listed (save for I Break Horses, who had to cancel their entire tour) wound up on the poster.

Trust me you want to see their live show inside a nice venue and not outside with sound bleed from other stages

After 30 years in the music business, former Smiths frontman and independent music luminary Morrissey revealed plans Friday to retire at the age of 55. The 53-year-old singer said that he wants to leave the business after "aging a lot recently."
