I wouldn't bet it. I've come to believe that person is CONSTANTLY full of shit.
So we're gonna end up with Eminem, RHCP, and Phoenix. Great.
I hope not.

I wish John Frusciante would still tour playing his solo stuff. I would love to see him in a tent. And he lives in LA. He should just do it. Imma text him.
His solo stuff is terrible.

Matt Cameron isn't too busy with Soundgarden that Pearl Jam isn't playing Lollapalooza Chile and Brasil the weeks before Coachella.
Pearl Jam is out because there's no reason for them to play - they have no new material, and are in no other way particularly current. Yes, they played a show at the Polo Grounds 20 years ago. No one cares about that other than Pearl Jam fans, who there might be enough of for the band to do their own thing again at the Polo Grounds some day.

Won't the lineup be solidified/released by then? More a factor for festivals announcing full lineups months after Coachella.
This comes up with YYYs and Phoenix as well. I find it hard to believe that GV get to hear their new albums before getting them contracted to play the festival. Not exactly sure how much new stuff T&S or YYYs have done live so far.

K's Choice announcing 2013 US dates this week - CONFIRMED.
Beach House are playing at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur April 17th. Seems likely.

RIP The White Stripes 1997-2011
I don't expect them to show up at all, but can anyone else entertain the notion of The Postal Service headlining? It'd be their first show in ten years, during which that album has gone platinum and imprinted itself upon untold thousands of lovesick teenagers (myself included).
