I think if it was 2009 YYY's could've headlined. I mean, they were one of the 6 headliners at ACL and Lolla that year, but I think too much time has gone by since their last album. Their new album will have to be a massive success to get them to headliner status again.

Same thing as the YYYs. that or lower. I have the live show from Paris in 2003 DVD and the crowd is insane though. I don't think they have that same momentum anymore though, at least not here in the states.

my mistake. they headlined ACL and Lolla that year was more my point. If they had built on that momentum then I could see it today, but I think they've hit their popularity ceiling.

You are aware that they only "headlined" those festivals as a replacement for the Beastie Boys, and were not among the top 3 acts at either festival, which we term a "sub-headliner" at Coachella, yes?

I did. Mainly sitting though it to save standing energy for Air. It was a bit tough to adgust to 3 days that year.
