The thing with Killers and MUSE production is that it has to be hanging and tested in Indio before doors open to the public at 11 am. If it leaves the previous night venue at midnight and has a 5 hour flight(presumably private) it starts to get very tight on time and would be sunk with even a single minor airport delay.
The Killers still do triple nighters and could do a show with a simple video wall and basic lighting supplied by GV. A MUSE show with a generic video wall screen is relatively pointless, plus they seem to be shying away from triple nighters.
Does anyone every wonder what the fuck happened to La Roux? They cancel last year on the pretense they are finishing up an album and then just vanish. Not dying to see them by any means but somebody may wanna put out an Apb on those flaky shits.
Don't fuck with mother nature.

The Killers are not fucking headlining! Stop talking about them now. Thank you.
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
I play drums for the Killers and I confirm that we're not playing.
*based upon tedious fact checking.
Radiohead sure used of that second set of production after Toronto....
This only applies to major stadium shows, even then it's only the metal scaffolding/roof that does every other show.
Name a single tour that had 2 sets of arena sized lighting/production. That MUSE set would be a couple mill and is out of every arena in 2-3 hours, so there no need to have 2 of them.
"Buggered up" Oh, Bumblebee.
5/25-5/27: MOVEMENT DETROIT
6/6: The Field @ The Independent
6/26: Colin Stetson @ The Chapel
