it's funny how everybody seems to have a friend of a friend that works with every artist ever.

Its not a friend of a friend, Im helping him organize the Usher concert at the moon palace Cancun, and he got in touch with The Killers manager by mail and by phone.
Im just saying its a clue...

Do The Killers tour with two stage setups? because it's a 29 hour drive from Mexico City to Indio so I don't see how they could play unless they have a second stage setup.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills; how do you guys honestly believe that Daft Punk will be playing next year? Their album isn't even out yet, and if I had to guess, the earliest we'd maybe see it is in the middle of 2013. Not to mention it probably means they don't have a live mix to play nor a new visual setup to top Alive 2007.

A huge majority of us are from LA and likely passionate about music, so it's not too unreasonable. I have friends who know someone who works closely with Dillon Francis and Keep Shelley in Athens, and I met the tour manager of Young the Giant (and a few other bands I can't remember) at a bar in Newport once. Not trying to brag or anything, but it's not completely unlikely that some people on the boards know some people.

Ok, I have a partner that organize concerts in Cancun Mexico, we got in touch with The Killers managers to see if they can perform after Mexico City, and they say they are not available not even the next weekend, I know it doesnt mean anything, but it can be a clue.
And I know 99% people in the forums hate them but The Killers - Daft Punk Sunday would be a crowd pleaser
