Why don't you morons just stop responding to him?

My buddy today was hinting at RHCP being approached awhile back like someone was saying on here months ago, but didn't full on know what the outcome was.

Seriously, what the fuck else is there to do? There's almost no speculating left.
In an annoying admission, I had a horrible dream the other night where I had convinced like 10 people who'd never attended Coachella before to come out with me at the last minute and for some reason the lineup wasn't revealed until you actually set foot inside the fields and got your booklet, and everyone flipped through and found out The Killers and Muse were headlining and then I had to try to cheer them up.
Here's one reason that this scenario really doesn't make sense to me: you have RHCP on FRIDAY? I mean, they have evolved into a bunch of bags of shit, granted, but they're still such a huge draw it seems utterly absurd that they'd be playing on the first night with the fucking Killers closing. We've been through a repeat headliners year before, that isn't beyond the realm of possibility (hell, there's only so many combinations of bands big enough to headline) but you're putting the biggest one on Friday?
How about we discuss any of the four artists that were more or less confirmed today? Although I assume everyone saw Of Monsters and Men, Alabama Shakes, and Alt-J coming from a mile away. Alt-J are pretty mediocre live, they were outplayed by one of the their openers when I saw them at Rickshaw Stop over the summer. Looking forward to Alabama Shakes, still haven't had a chance to see them play yet.
I don't see why that would be the first threepeet headliner. they really aren't even that great anymore. My friend who was relaying this was even doubtful himself.

I'm still amused by this morning's moronic assertions that Monklish was an alias AND NOTHING ELSE BUT. Thanks, thread.
5/25-5/27: MOVEMENT DETROIT
6/6: The Field @ The Independent
6/26: Colin Stetson @ The Chapel
Also, I like MotorAve.
Or at the very least, I hate how pitiful everyone else's attempts to ridicule him are.

He said they were approached, not signed. That doesn't make you "right". If their name pops up on the lineup, then you would be right. I only think you're full of shit for suggesting the Killers and Muse.

RHCP I buy I suppose, they're just easy plus it makes Atoms for Peace logical. The Killers even I guess I can imagine being a likely choice cause how many other newer headliners are there out there. The Muse thing makes fucking no sense though. Also, I'd like to think that GV wouldn't lazy out on us just because they no longer have to worry about whether or not they'll sell tickets.
what about bjork

Yeah, I believe they were signed over a year ago.
I just don't buy all three headliners being KROQ acts
Two maybe, but not three.
