I mean, we pretty much already do...after Sahara acts, not really much room in the top lines after Phoenix, YYYs, Nick Cave, Grizzly Bear, Hot Chip, the XX, the Postal Service, etc. And then not counting the consistently rumored Blur, Stone Roses, QOTSA.

What's boggling to me is how no headliner has leaked. Not counting the possibility of Phoenix and YYYs co-headlining a night. We knew Radiohead last year, Kings Of Leon in 2011, and Muse in 2010.

I know this will be taken as a grain of salt (as it should be for that matter) but i have a friend who works in the music industry in LA and he confirmed a name I haven't seen yet on this board and it's Jurassic 5 as they will be reuniting.

Some others: Wu-Tang, Kendrick, Wild Belle, Stone Roses, Local Natives, Airborne Toxic Event and some of the obvious ones like Passion Pit and the xx.

Also, my friend was on the Coachella Cruise and spoke to Paul from Goldenvoice and he said Paul didn't have a good idea who was headlining at the time of the cruise. Said Daft Punk would be most likely out as they cost too much, Rolling Stones were 50/50 and Led Zeppelin was a darkhorse to headline.

TCHY confirmed Muse, Arcade Fire and Radiohead months in advance in consecutive years. Pretty sure he confirmed Arcade Fire as a 2011 headliner before the 2010 festival started. Unfortunately he hasn't given any headliner confirmations this year.
