Bowie has become a god like figure on this board over the years. Which has me begging the question: how many people on here actually listen to Bowie's music on any kind of regular basis? Not many at all, I suspect.
Evidence:
Keep on grasping at straws. I love how those desperate for any sliver of hope are clinging to a "he hasn't ruled out he might do a show" quote from the exact same guy who made it very clear in TWO prior interviews (before the ass-covering began) that Bowie had in fact ruled out shows for this album.
In the realm of legitimate rumors, the Stones are the only one of the three that qualify.

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

I get the excitement over wanting a legend to perform at Coachella. But Bowie will not play.
Why would he want to go all the way to Southern California to play his first show in years? Doesn't he live in England?
If anything Glastonbury might be able to book him, but even that is a longshot.
