Despite all the negativity on this board, (RHCP, Muse, The Killers), this could turn out to be literally the best coachella lineup ever.

Anyone remember the date the board color/format changed last year?

Every Coachella is the best Coachella ever.....except 2010.
No, he is correct. This year has the potential to be the biggest Coachella line up yet, or the most disappointing. We have legitimate rumours (if ever there was an oxymoron, there it is) this year about The Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, and David Bowie. 3 acts that have been pipe dreams and rumours have popped up from nowhere and we had no real reason to believe. While this year, there is very good evidence any of the 3 of them will be there. I personally only expect one of those 3 to be on the line up and highly doubt the other too, the rumours have given people reason to believe they may actually end up on the line up. Toss this in with other possible headliners discussed including NIN and Neil Young & Crazy Horse, and subs including Blur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Sigur Ros and more... this line up seems like it has the potential to be far too stacked be reasonable.
Of course we may end up having RHCP, Mumford & Sons and The Killers as headliners. So it also stands to reason this may be the most disappointing Coachella line up yet.
There is more evidence that supports Bjork possibly playing again over Daft Punk or David Bowie, but people seem to have forgotten that.
Yeah, but could Bjork headline?
You should try keeping up
"Despite all reports to the contrary, Visconti reveals that Bowie may actually perform these songs live. “He doesn’t want to tour any more. He’s had enough of it. But he hasn’t ruled out that he might do a show. It was a relief to me to hear that he was open to that.”

mrhand, you're forgetting rule #1:
EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE
May 22 - Arctic Monkeys @ Ventura Theatre
June 9 - Devo/Gza @ LANHM
June 19 - Zavala @ Soho
July 31 - Flaming Lips @ Pacific Amp.
August 24,25 - FYF fest - State Historic Park
Sept. 22 - M83 w/ Philharmonic @ Hollywood Bowl
Sept. 12 -GY!BE @ the Fonda
Oct. 17 - Atoms for Peace @ SB Bowl
Keep up with the times, man.
With that being said, I don't believe David Bowie will be at Coachella this year. But this year is the best chance we have ever had at Bowie and it isn't beyond the realm of possibilities that he could end up on the line up. I mean, there are Bowie rumours EVERY year, and this year it is an actual possibility. It is no wonder people are excited about that possibility.
