I didn't like Animal Collective's set at all, but I loved the visuals they had on those cubes above the stage. I would have been bored to tears without them. And Arcade Fire were wonderful.
I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl and I remember thinking that I would need to be on some psychs to really enjoy it.
