Well, it's pretty certain The Monkees won't be appearing at Coachella this year. Davy's dead, for one thing. A pity Golden Voice didn't book these American icons while all original members were still alive. Oh well. Maybe Michael Nesmith and the First National Band can get it together for a booking at Stagecoach///////..........

Earlier this week, we reported Spiritualized’s plans for a spring tour of North America. Soon after publication, however, we were contacted by the band’s representative, who told us that the original plans for a full-scale tour were scrapped in favor of a smaller West coast leg. The docket currently concludes April 12th in Vegas, so it’s likely the band will make their way to Indio for an appearance at Coachella.
