I know I sound like those elitists who stop liking people after they get big, but the crowd at m83 this last year ruined the show for me. Everyone talking, moving around in hand-to-hand trains of 30, with no regard for anyone around them, just to hear one song. I wished he had played that first, so everyone would leave, allowing the rest of us enjoy the entire set. Nevermind he cancelled his show in my town, which admittedly just about everyone of relevance skips over, as soon as that song blew up. Maybe a solo show would be better...maybe that Austin date.

Earlier this week, we reported Spiritualized’s plans for a spring tour of North America. Soon after publication, however, we were contacted by the band’s representative, who told us that the original plans for a full-scale tour were scrapped in favor of a smaller West coast leg. The docket currently concludes April 12th in Vegas, so it’s likely the band will make their way to Indio for an appearance at Coachella.
