I enjoyed their set but still had a similar reaction. Eminem was the only guest that I thought elevated the show and even he played a song that should never have been in the setlist.

EXACTLY. When you bill a Snoop and Dre set, you create an expectation that we're gonna get to go back to when rap was fucking AWESOME and hear all that shit. Instead you got like four Snoop or Dre songs, a fucking House Of Pain cover, and then a parade of other motherfuckers doing a bunch of current rap--NOT EVEN DOING THEIR BEST SONGS--who are neither Snoop nor Dre. Both Snoop and Dre have fucking huge catalogues of awesome solo songs too, where the fuck was Keep Ya Head Ringing or Doggy Dogg World, I mean FUCK.

Since people in here seemed to be gizzing over the fact that Dre had a Tupac Hologram, I must restate my stance on the hologram. It wasn't cool, that's too much credit. It was DUMB. Radiohead did a great job at incorporating theatrics, stage presence, while still sticking to why people are there; the music. Acts that can put all that together are worthy of being a headliner.

Yep, looking back at the setlist there were around 12-15 songs that I really had no desire to hear. Replace those with the straight up g-funk jams from back in the day and you got one of the greatest rap concerts of all time. The lineup said DR. DRE and SNOOP DOGG so that's what I was expecting going in. Oh well, it was probably a shitload better than Avicii playing 'levels' for an hour and a half.
