it was more a comment on how often you post tour dates from years ago for various bands that no one asked for. 100% of the time it adds nothing to any conversation. just go look at the shit you post in the upcoming shows thread. here's a notable example of whogivesafuck from you:

To be honest, The Strokes are much bigger than Blur at least here in the US. The biggest NYC headlining show Blur ever played was at Hammerstein Ballroom which has a capacity of 3900 in 2003. Maybe if they play couple shows in big markets (ex: Pulp), they'll make some money but for most part of the country, they're still remembered as "Song 2" band in my opinion. They'll never do an arena size tour here. But I guess that's a good thing for us because they sold out 80,000 ticket show in London in August in 5 minutes! I highly doubt they'll play Coachella but you might be right about SXSW. Here's the last US tour dates from 2003:

I responded with the tour dates after this from Bumblebee. Nathanfairchild didn't even know Blur existed in 2003 so he can go rambling on about whatever!

I find it odd that Blur would bring their equipment over for a single performance in Mexico. For comparison here's the Strokes spring 2011 itinerary:

March 5 - NYC - SNL
March 12 - Vegas - Cosmo
March 17 - Austin - SXSW - Shore
March 23 - NYC - Letterman
March 30 - NYC -Fallon
April 1 - NYC - MSG
April 17 - LA/Indio - Coachella
April 20 - LA - Conan
May 1 - DC - Amphitheater

They did Vegas 5 weeks before Coachella with a routing that makes little sense(crossing the continent 4 times) and has lots of downtime. It also makes me think Blur is a strong candidate for SXSW.

Justin Townes Earle has the Stagecoach festival on 4/27 as one of his tour dates. The last show listed right now before stagecoach is on March 9th, so maybe he'll be camping out for 3 weeks in Indio. Justin Townes Earle website
