By "rumors" you mean multiple explicit statements by members of the band over a period longer than a year? They'll have something new in '13, when they already have 6 shows booked and more to come around Coachella time, but there's nothing as gauche as a release date yet.

I really hope on sunday night they do something similar with the sahara/main stage like they did this year.. putting a really fucking shitty dj in the sahara while who ever closes out the festival can do it with all the e-tards in the sahara.. i think it would kinda suck if boys noize and richie hawtin play sunday night against the rolling stones. Would rather them play against deadmau5 and YYYs and benny bennasi can play against the stones. Also who would play in the sahara against daft punk? seems hard to put an electronic act against them.

I prefer having beer gardens. It keeps people from spilling beer on me when I am watching a show at any given stage / tent and it keeps a good amount of trash from scattering across the rest of the Polo Fields. I hope they never get rid of them.
