The crew said they receive enough ticket requests to support more than four weekends of Coachella, but they have no plans to expand beyond two. Holy grail headliners for them still include David Bowie, Talking Heads and The Smiths (Fold would personally love to have Iron Maiden, as well). Tollett, Fold and Paige were enthusiastic about newcomers Father John Misty, who performed earlier in the afternoon. Paige said the wristband technology that has replaced paper tickets in recent years should eventually be able to work to purchase merch and beer.

I prefer having beer gardens. It keeps people from spilling beer on me when I am watching a show at any given stage / tent and it keeps a good amount of trash from scattering across the rest of the Polo Fields. I hope they never get rid of them.

They should add more shade to the gardens and could possibly expand the sahara one, but open beer gardens would have to change this event to a 21+ and there would be much more rape on the polo fields. Raping of our culture.

Exactly. The biggest problem with beer everywhere is that morons will buy like five or six beers at a time, and will spill them everywhere drinking them or trying to carry them through the crowd to their bros.

Your right. They never add or drop anyone to the lineup after the poster comes out. No volcanoes errupt to stop artists from attending. Cat Power and La roux were there in 2012 didn't you see? In fact, the artists on the poster are protected from dying until they perform ala the Candidates on LOST.

This is a plus for sure. I just find myself having to slam drinks in between sets when I would rather drink a little slower. I suppose I could just have fewer drinks, but that's no fun

I was in the beer garden last year, and I heard some guy talking to an EMT saying he might have used sunscreen from a stranger that contained LSD in it....lol, and the guy was freaking out asking the EMT what was about to happen to him.
