I went both weekends. So why would I watch a set twice that I didn't enjoy? some of those acts i caught while waiting for the next act (Cee Lo, Skrillex), i watched Aoki because it was that or Airborne Toxic Event and they didn't have ins&outs in '09.

You can always tell a newb when they have serious personal feelings about whether or not [artist] should be allowed to headline. Bjork put on one of the best shows I've ever seen there. Regardless of your feelings about her, she's an artist deserving of headliner status. She's bucked the system entirely, consistently puts out imaginative, genre-defying work, and ranges from being heartbreakingly moving to ball-blastingly thunderous get-the-fuck-down electronic.

I have a strange feeling that after all this talk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs are gonna end up headlining and there will be a collective "WTF" from the board, much like The Black Keys coming back to headline.

Exactly. I've been following this band for almost 10 years now and there's no doubt in my mind, they're ready to headline or at least co-headline Coachella this year. They've played everywhere in the city from Mercury Lounge (200 capacity) to Radio City (6000 capacity). If a new song they played two weeks ago is any indication to what this next LP might sound like, old school fans should be very happy that they're going back to garage/punk rock sound. When Blitz came out, they only played on SNL and Santos Party House in NYC before Coachella. But in 2006 before their Coachella appearance, they played couple small shows before going out on a full US tour so depending on when this album will be out (I'm thinking March/early April), we should be seeing some dates....also Nick mentioned they might do "Fever To Tell" show/tour next year for 10th anniversary

Yep! That's why Union Pool two weeks ago with 75 people was amazing. Karen was sharing the mic with the crowd on couple songs and as always swallowed the mic during Art Star I didn't even recognize "Sealings" but I heard it was on some soundtrack? I believe it was the first time they played it...Enjoy!

Sealings was on the Spiderman 3 soundtrack, they were opening shows with it during their 2007 tour. Still their best set opening song as far as I'm concerned. At festivals it sounds a hundred miles wide.
