They were 3rd billed at Coachella 2009
Before they pulled out they were 4th on the 2011 Lolla Chile poster
Big Day Out 2013 has them 3rd for a single day festival
Vive Latino 2013 has the as one of the 5 headliners.
They will be roughly the same as they were in 2009.
They keys had sold out arena sized venues before they headlined. YYYs sold 2,000 in a bunch of places 3-4 years ago.

Has it been determined yet if that Songkick e-mail was just an alert resulting from random schmucks adding bands to the Coachella lineup on Songkick?
I know any user can add any band to a festival lineup on Songkick, but will that trigger an alert e-mail?

Couldn't do it this upcoming year. You really think they're going to follow up The Black Keys, Radiohead, and Dr. Dre with Bjork? I get that that they can only book who is available but with the Tupac hologram making Coachella a household name, we're not going to get indie darlings as headliners anymore. Sorry folks.
I'll drink a cup of my own piss if Bjork headlines within the next three years. Quote me.
I love it when you idiots perpetrate like you have a fucking clue who GV wants to book and why. Like you have some fucking insight into their mindstate that makes you so confident to say that they wouldn't book this artist who they clearly respect a great deal, who helped their festival become a success the first year it turned a profit, who is an extremely rare get that barely ever tours and you fucking dipshits all get together and think that they wouldn't book her again because she's not mainstream enough.
You're goddamn idiots, the lot of you. The whole reason this festival is better than the others is specifically because it's run by people with integrity and heart unlike dicknoses like yourself.

Like I said:

Bjork has the same amount of draw as Jack johnson. Both have groups that will follow them wherever and both will have people attend to see the show they put on (or lack thereof in JJ's case). Neither have mass appeal but might attract a speculatory buzz(ed) crowd. IMO if you can legitimize JJ then legitimize Bjork, even though she contributes much more intellectual and progressive music then JJ. In closing neither should headline but again, its not up to me. Flame on....![]()
Bjork would sell just as well. Get over it.

Why would a Bjork fan choose seeing her at Coachella over the chance to see her multiple times in a tiny venue in San Fran? Weren't her other Chella appearances the first time to see her stateside in 4-5 years?
You do know that AEG owns the festival and not Goldenvoice?
