I'm tired of the NIN arguing.

Let me guess....you think AF, Kings of Leon and the Black Keys are better than NIN! Jack Johnson + The Killers are about the same as NIN.
Nine Inch Nails has confirmed ten final dates after which the NIN live experience will go on indefinite hiatus.
As always, a significant percentage of the best tickets for the shows will be reserved for exclusive pre-sale on NIN.com. In this case, NIN.com pre-sale will include every ticket for the most intimate farewell shows at New York's Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall and Los Angeles' Henry Fonda Theater and Echoplex.
NIN.com pre-sales will begin July 17 with general on-sales following July 31.
The Horrors will support the August 22, 23 and 25 New York dates. Mew will support August 28 in Chicago and September 2 and 3 in Los Angeles. Support for the remaining dates will be announced at a later date. Some French band that got huge after 1901 single even though they released three full lengths before that. I liked them in 2009 because they made room for me to enjoy Pavement for the first time! Oh and their guitarist used to be in a band with Daft Punk and the rest is history....Getting right to the point, we're going to play a handful of shows in NYC, Chicago and LA starting August 22nd. They will be informal affairs in medium to small venues with longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers and other surprises. Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight - it just didn't feel right to end NIN that way. An offer to headline V-Fest in Toronto (being announced soon) set the idea in motion to play some FUN shows to end this up with. If we can get it together we'll film these shows, too.
In NYC we'll be playing Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5. In Chicago, the Aragon Ballroom. In LA we'll be at The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex. These should be cool, unusual and unique shows and I hope you come out - this is it.
So far, The Horrors will be joining us for some shows in NYC, Mew will be with us at other shows in NYC, Chicago and LA, and perhaps more.
Details and ticket info will be announced shortly, so check back.
Thanks,
Trent

Shit... if anything I'd think they'd be thankful for the opportunity those Wave Goodbye shows offered... I mean seeing NIN at a 500 capacity venue (Bowery Ballroom) was a hell of an experience! And I know I'm personally thankful I had that opportunity. (Sure, it didn't top the four shows I saw in 94/95... but it was still a hell of a show)...

Sigur Ros is going to play and its going to completely blow everyone's fucking mind.
NIN note: As someone who went to the Wave Goodbye shows; I don't think NIN will ever play the Downward Spiral in its entirety live for a very long time, if ever again.
