I think the more likely explanation is less that Monklish and Suprefan are one in the same, and more that Monklish sees Suprefan as some sort of source of inside knowledge. Not too shocking that the Monklish list came out after the lineup pool lists were posted here.
Look, it's not hard to make a list of educated guesses. Most of you have similar lineup guesses in your lineup pools.
Ok.... on a different topic than who-gives-a-fuck-lish
I know a lot's always made about Australian festivals in the spring etc etc but this one seems interesting because it's already got a few names that have kicked around rumors (Japandroids, Divine Fits, Alt - J) and quite a few acts that seem all too likely to show up at our fest in the desert (Bat for Lashes, Jessie Ware, Yeasayer, Nicolas Jaar, Cloud Nothings)... Maybe even some reaching-hopefuls like Julia Holter, Shlohmo, Holy Other, El-P, The Men, etc.

Just some food for thought ya know...
edit: it's also a traveling festival, that's the Perth lineup and the one closest to Chella (February 9th). Some of the other lineups have other hopefuls too (Of Monsters and Men, Nite Jewel).

Divine Fits plz!!!
if we are only going by tour dates, i'd say KMFDM is very likely, considering what they're doing for the new tour.. but if they are booked, that tells me gv couldn't get ministry to come back for another round of dates..

i think we should stop talking about the chili peppers because they're fucking awful.
| May 22 - Paul McCartney | May 24 - Black Flag | May 25 - Soundgarden | May 31 - Baroness | June 1 - Andy Stott | June 10 - Dragonette | June 22 - Tricky | July 27 - Black Sabbath | August 2 - Rob Zombie/Mastodon |August 15 - Queens of the Stone Age | October 4-6 - ACL |
The only similarities that stand out are NIN and Phoenix. Just about EVERYBODY in the lineup pool predicted Daft Punk, and a good number of folks had Grizzly Bear and Of Monsters and Men, and more than a couple people had Stone Roses (especially when they got announced for that Australian fest that's a few weeks before Coachella). Knife Party doesn't surprise me, nor does Nicolas Jaar considering his recent tour dates. So no, two selections don't really sum up anything.
Ok. No more Chili Peppers. Promise.
