You'd be better off saving your cash and going to Primavera. I'm sure Television will do some other dates.
Now that's interesting. By next year, one way or another, I should be able to afford Primavera. Good call.

Those two ATPs combining lineups would be fucking insane. Loop, 23 Skidoo, Pop Group, Fennesz, Wolf Eyes, Oneohtrix Point Never, Forest Swords, Haxan Cloak and Demdike would be one dark, mindblowing fucking weekend.

Because the ATP weekenders are a magical respite from the world. An indie/rock/hardcore/electronica sponsorship-free utopia by the sea for a precious few days and there is no equivalent in any other festival experience.

In a packed British festival scene where the emphasis is now on brand and consumerism, ATP always represented a last bastion of quality, community and creativity. Like the best festivals of yesteryear we always felt we were part of something special when we attended an ATP event - a small, manageable gathering of like-minded people that loved the music first and foremost. The fact ATP weekenders were always held in traditional holiday camps added to its perfection - safe, self-contained and all the bands easy to reach, it was like going to your favourite gig six times a day. We got to see some of the most dynamic, revered and creative punk, indie and electronica bands that have ever been in existence, and we want to see more. There was nothing like ATP, and there won't be when it finishes. Both for music, and the people who love music, ATP is still important and we don't want it to end.
    To:
    All Tomorrow's Parties
Cancel the cancellation of all future ATPs at Camber Sands
    Sincerely,
    [Your name]

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

I think it's funny that, at this point, there won't be a DOOM show at which people won't speculate it's not him.

I wish this was closer to home...

Weekend 1 running from November 22nd-24th is curated in collaboration with our friends at Primavera Sound. Since 2001 the Primavera organisation has been running amazing festivals in Barcelona (and now Porto), featuring ATP curated stages at each event since 2007.

For this weekend we can now newly confirm performances from Godspeed You! Black Emperor,
Low, Tortoise, Magik Markers, Har Mar Superstar, Scout Niblett, Blanck Mass, Los Planetas, Standstill, Refree and Headbirds. The line-up now looks like this with more to be confirmed…

+ many more to be confirmed!

Weekend 2 running from November 29th-December 1st is curated by ATP and LOOP. Hailing from South London, Loop released three mindblowing albums in the late 1980s highlighted by 1990's A Gilded Eternity. Reviewing their recently reissue discography, The Quietus wrote "These were stars that burned and shone with an intense brightness, and it's testament to Loop's vision and delivery that the mark they made is indelible." ATP are very pleased to reunite Loop for this event and also to ask them to collaborate with us on choosing the line-up of the very last ATP Holiday Camp festival.

Today we can confirm that Mogwai (the headliners of the first ever ATP festival in 2000) will play the closing set of this final holiday camp festival. Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai:

“It’s an incredible honour to be asked to close the final ATP holiday camp festival. We couldn't have imagined when we curated in 13 years ago that the festival would have had the impact that it’s had. Back then festivals were moving further to the mainstream and I think the continued strength of underground music in the UK owes a big debt to the work done by ATP. I think getting to play with Loop, musical heroes of ours will be a fitting way for us to close this event.”

They are joined by other new additions - Balam Acab, White Fence, Ty Segall, Föllakzoid, Wolf People, Civil Civic, Tall Firs, Dawn Hunger, Kandodo, New War and DJ Jonathan Toubin.

So far for this weekend the line-up looks like this:

    Curated by Loop:

    Loop
    The Pop Group
    Fennesz
    23 Skidoo
    Dirty Beaches
    White Fence
    Kandodo
    Hookworms

    Curated by ATP:

    Mogwai
    Ty Segall
    Balam Acab
    Edan (DJ set)
    Föllakzoid
    Tall Firs
    Wolf People
    Civil Civic
    Eaux
    New War
    Dawn Hunger
    The KVB
    Thought Forms
    DJ Jonathan Toubin

+ many more to be confirmed!

    !!!!!!

All Tomorrow's Parties was founded in 2000, with Mogwai invited to curate the line-up in the unusual setting of Pontins Holiday Camp, Camber Sands. Since then the festival has expanded across the globe continuing to set itself apart from large corporate events by staying intimate and fan-friendly, whilst influencing countless other festivals along the way. Two special December festival events at Camber Sands will be the last ever UK Holiday Camp festivals - two consecutive weekends under the title The End Of An Era. Weekend 1 is now completely sold out, making Weekend 2 the last chance fans will have to attend this very special festival in it’s original holiday camp home.

Weekend 2 running from November 29th - December 1st will be curated by ATP and Loop. Loop released three mind-blowing albums in the late 1980s highlighted by 1990's A Gilded Eternity and ATP are very pleased to invite them to collaborate with us on the line-up which also sees Mogwai return to play the closing set of this final holiday camp festival. Today we can announce another very exciting headliner:

    SLINT
, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, released two incredible albums on the Touch & Go label - 1989’s Tweez and 1991’s Spiderland. Spiderland left an unmistakeable imprint on the burgeoning ‘post-rock’ genre and gained many avid listeners across the next two decades. One of those listeners was ATP’s Barry Hogan:

“I'll never forget the first time I heard Spiderland. It’s one of those records that changed my life and even inspired me to reform the band in 2005 by flying to Louisville, and bringing all the original members together for the first time in 13 years. Spiderland still excites me now as much as the first time I heard it. To say we are fortunate to have this incredibly influential band play the final ATP is a huge understatement.”

After Hogan’s trip, Slint ultimately reformed to headline All Tomorrow’s Parties UK in 2005, then performed the Spiderland album in full for the first time at another short series of live appearances in 2007. ATP are very excited to be able to invite Slint back to make a very rare live appearance as one of the headliners of the last ever ATP holiday camp festival.

The remaining tickets for the event are on sale now via ATPFestival.com – with more exciting names still to be added to the line-up. So far the line-up looks like this…

    Curated by ATP:

    Mogwai
    Slint
    Goat
    Superchunk
    Girls Against Boys
Michael Rother presents the music of Neu! & Harmonia
    Om
    Ty Segall
    Balam Acab
    Edan (DJ set)
    Dawn Hunger
    Föllakzoid
    Tall Firs
    Wolf People
    Civil Civic
    Eaux
    New War
    The KVB
    Thought Forms
    DJ Jonathan Toubin

    Curated by Loop:

    Loop
    The Pop Group
    Comets On Fire
    Fennesz
    23 Skidoo
    Dirty Beaches
    White Fence
