Coachella has surrendered to indie mainstream, Kanye thinks he's a genius for bringing The Offspring and Lou Reed to Miami, the Stones are too cool for them (festivals) and ravers can't get light shows at raves! This thread is to discuss the age old question asked by SlowMotionApocalypse: Where did it all go wrong???!!!

What if they had Lost Coast instead of Heineken???
Could turkey legs have prevented this?
Did the investors of Pacific Fest really believe in the project or were they just stoked on the free Benihana meal and Dim Mak CDs?
Why have festivals become a dime a dozen shitfest people?

2.People liked music
3.People copied music
4.Music became popular at festivals
5.Festivals became insanely popular, bringing in shitty people
∴ Daft Punk is responsible for the downfall of festivals
