    I put the album on my phone on your recommendation. Then I looked up who they were. Britt Daniel. Wary. Hmm.

    Wary of Britt Daniel? No, John, say it isn't so.

    They also include Dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade (whose songs are about half of the album) and Sam Brown from New Bomb Turks.

    If you like Wolf Parade AND Spoon, you will like the whole album. If you like one or the other, you'll probably only like half the album. If you don't like either, I'm sorry for your loss.

    I never heard it. The only Spoon album I am OK with is Girls Can Tell so I stopped trying.

    I like this album more than any Spoon album. I am pretty sure I can even say I straight up like it.

    loved it can't wait for treasure island. anyone seen them live yet? they've had/have like 5 or 6 shows in LA scheduled before the festival.
