Wherein we post things that we're pretty positive the rest of the board thinks sucks, when in fact it is awesome and it is YOU who suck.
I think people have to know something actually exists before forming an opinion about it.

Shit.. Haven't seen a Tatu video in years. Thanks for that.
You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.
It's that tad bit of Crazy that keeps me Sane...
haha I haven't heard that in years. awesome
I've always liked the Tatu song, but that is one of my least favorite ABBA songs. And I love ABBA.
Also, I think this has potential. Kind of half confessions, half calling people out for being pretentious fucks.
Trent Reznor sucks. Srsly why any of you people who are otherwise intelligent would be drawn to his derivative indulgent pap is beyond me. You must have formed a bond with it when you were young and impressionable and stupid and hormonal.
Note to the hordes: 'otherwise intelligent' is exclusive for a reason.
Johnny Cash would slap you.
(a) I had started dating Ivy and she would occasionally play a song that I didn't find quite as whiny and annoying as most of his catalog, but particularly (b) a friend had an extra ticket to Lights In The Sky at the Forum. Not a great venue but a perfect viewing position, and seeing him play live finally not whipping his long hair around and throwing keyboards at the end of every song sold me on him. The motherfucker had made all the music I heard that night ALONE. Just him. And he'd managed to take this art he'd created single-handedly and turn it into an almost religious devotion from his fans. As an egotist, I couldn't deny the mastery of it.
I've had to face myself over the past couple of years, and realize I really only like some of two Nine Inch Nails albums. There's an unbelievable amount of filler in his catalog. Still a very good live act.
This thread has potential.
Tatu = win
Warm Leatherette ... interesting
ABBA doesn't do much for me.
S&G had their cool pop moments and "Kodachrome" is fun. But 'Paul Simon As Serious Artist' is a short, blighted, deadend street. In particular, Graceland is background music at a particularly boring dinner party.
I like Randy a lot, but the above paragraph is guaranteed to send him into apoplexy.
