Anyone have 2 extra tix they're willing to let go at face?
1/3 ain't bad. stoked to see strip steve
2 days away...
Coachella Weekend #1
Destructo bowed out due to family issues, but Le1f is subbing in
^ yup and the set times are:
Strip Steve- 9:40-10:40pm
LE1F- 10:40-11:20pm
UZ- 11:20-12:10pm
Boys Noize- 12:30-2am.
TBH would have preferred to have LE1F opening instead of strip steve. (would like to get there a little later, but oh well)
see you tonight!
You guys are in for a treat. He was great in Oakland last night. As I'm sure most of you are in the same boat, this was no where near my first time seeing him. However I can say pretty easily that this was my favorite set from him.

boys noize was great and everything but strip steve completely blew me away ... wow, what a filthy set
^YES! strip steve threw down an amazing set! UZ on the other hand was boring. I was excited to hear some "real trap shit" and was let down. Don't want him at coachella.
Boys Noize. what can you say. Alex consistently delivers and this was by far one of my favorites sets from him. That encore was fucking ridiculous.
the crowd was fucking awful
missed strip steve who i really wanted to see.
boys noize crushed, but his live setup seems way too restrictive
strip steve was fucking awesome... loved it, hope he comes around more often. i actually enjoyed strip steve more than boys noize... didn't really care for the live set up, would've enjoyed a dj set more. also everything in between them put me in a bad mood.
the trap was awful, and it made the crowd worse. big fight broke out during UZ... guy getting his face smashed pretty hard.

I just saw him tonight in San Diego. I definitely prefer his DJ set over the skull.
Strip Steve was great, a large majority of the crowd didn't know how to react to his music which was entertaining. He played right before Boys Noize and played a pretty long set.
Uz was pretty bad...
Both myself and a few other friends thought the live set lacked some of the energy/propulsion of his DJ sets...that being said, would not mind seeing the live set again at all. Would be happy if Coachella booked it, and kind of hope they do (or at least book him for a DJ set). Thought the live set was pretty interesting and could be done even better with a few tweaks.
UZ was very meh...was expecting more. Bummed I couldn't make it for Strip Steve, although crowd seemed pretty dead for Le1f, if they were going for Strip Steve that would have been rad.
the crowd near me was okay, just a huge dance party. wish we got strip steve into BN in Hollywood, ended up not going in til almost 11 and completely missed him =o(
As someone who's seen a bunch of Boys Noize DJ sets, I enjoyed the 'Live' show if only for something different from him. Got to hear some of his older tunes he doesn't play anymore and custom versions of his current stuff.
Alex put on a fucking clinic with how to use mixer effects and CDJs, he makes a lot of other DJs look like they really are just pressing play.
