You're confused because the debate is regarding venues and seitrons lack of knowledge regarding DJ sets vs. Live sets, not whether or not an individual likes going to Beyond Wonderland.

While living in the bay area for most of my life, I've only lived in the city of SF for a little over 6 months. I'm still learning MUNI/BART/all the public transportation, yet I have much to learn.

Anyways, is there an easy way to get back to the city from the Coliseum at 2:30 AM ish on a Saturday night/sunday morning? It seems that BART doesn't run trains past midnight. I tried the 511.org trip planner and either I'm not doing it right or it says there aren't any options around that time either. I saw something about an All-Nighter Bus Service that runs in the bay area but I can't seem to find an easy way to get from the Coliseum to the city. For sake of easiness I'd like to be able to just get off somewhere downtown.

I wasn't saying anything about dj vs. live terms that they use on posters. I was commenting that djs play different sets at festivals than at clubs, so sometimes I prefer seeing djs play at festivals rather than just going to clubs. A Groove Armada DJ set at Coachella and some SF club would probably have very different song selection and set pacing.

To illustrate what I mean, if you look at the Kaskade thread people are talking about how he plays his big room cheese hits at festivals but apparently played a deep house afterparty club set. I saw him in vegas and he played exclusively terrible popular songs. Good djs will play to the room, and the style of the set can depend greatly on where you see them. Boys noize is another dj I can think of that has played very differently in clubs and at festivals when I have seen him.

Ticket bought at 10AM today from flavorus, NOT ticketmaster. Was able to snag the early bird price of $60 something after fees, though it would appear those are long gone now. Like EDC, they just sent me an email confirmation saying that due to high demand the orders are going to be processed over the next 5 days and that eventually my card should be charged and then sent an order complete confirmation. If this ticket buying process is as smooth as buying EDC is, then I have nothing to stress about and I know it'll eventually get processed in the next few days.

maybe when your taste in EDM grows outside the reins of shitty mainstream mega-rave EDM like Kaskade and Prydz you'll have some semblance of perspective on this issue.

My god people are so negative here! He said he happened to see kaskade in vegas probably with a girlfriend or some shit,and that he also played crap music there..and how dare you put PRYDZ in that category..some of the stuff he released as Cirez D is mindblowing,and also MSTRKRFT does suck,they have not been good since 2007.They got into that whole hard electro scene and just fell apart.
