Not a good week for Marshall owners such as myself. Add to a sub par performance from Rodgers I'm pretty sure I lost this week unless of course some super break out game from someone else.

Yeah 7 sacks and 4 picks right?

This game proved what a piece of shit Cutler is. He's the most inconsistent quarterback in the league. One week you'll get 300 yds 2 td's, the next week 160 yds 4 INT's.

My matchup tonight was my Forte vs BlueDevil's Aaron Rodgers. Forte may have been hurt with a minor ankle injury a little after the half, but the fact that Forte scored 8 points to Rodgers 11.16 gives me a good advantage coming into Sunday. As a fantasy player I pray that Forte is alright to play next week. As a football fan I hope Rodgers is ok to play next week as well.

Don't plan on getting Forte back anytime soon. That injury was not "minor."

Wasn't planning on getting Forte back anytime soon after learning of his high ankle sprain. With a week 6 bye, he'll likely return Week 7. Meaning in fantasy land I only miss him for 3 more weeks. That's doable. It is annoying that I lost my 1st and 3rd round picks (Forte/FJax) for a month but hey that's fantasy. I think I still have the squad to stay in it without them during that time.

You should be fine then. Spiller is a beast, and I think if he plays well enough could start over Fred Jackson when he comes back.

The NFL's leading rusher through 2 weeks of football was my 7th round draft pick. Jackpot. Also new reports out of Chicago this morning are that Forte's ankle sprain is not a high one and it much less serious than originally thought. It's actually a possibility with the extra days rest from the Thursday night game that he could return Week 3. I actually hope he doesn't and they rest him at least a week, but either way my season outlook just got way better!

Props for starting Amendola, he went off.

My team killed it this week, but unfortunately I played the only team in the league that scored more points than me.

I hate it when that shit happens.

That happened to me last week. This week my team just totally crapped the bed unless Peyton has a 400 yard 4 touchdown game tonight which is possible with Grimes being out for Atlanta. Bradshaw getting injured and Fitzy just sucking due to a shitty QB is just terrible.

I am 2-0 now, so excited about that. RGIII is killing it, and Nicks went off yesterday, too.

I was down by a little over one point. I had Prater left and he had Julio Jones left, somehow I managed to win the week.

Boyz II Mendenhall Obliterates Gillster17, Establishes Early-Season Dominance

    Boyz II Mendenhall (1-1) 108.74 Gillster17 (1-1) 65.20

Boyz II Mendenhall (1-1, 176.68 points) clobbered Gillster17 (1-1, 150.20 points) 108.74 - 65.20, led by Danny Amendola with 20.00 points and Stephen Gostkowski who scored 17.00. Heading into Sunday, Boyz II Mendenhall was in front 11.60 - 2.40. That lead faded away by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed 52.90 - 46.34. However, following the late Sunday games, Boyz II Mendenhall regained the lead for good.

    Boyz II Mendenhall Smooth Moves

With 17.00 points, Stephen Gostkowski had the highest score for a K in the league this week.
Sat TE Fred Davis on the bench, where he had the lowest TE score on the team with 1.50 points.
The 20.00 points scored by Danny Amendola was the fourth-highest score by a WR in the league this week.
Roddy White scored 16.20 points, the sixth-highest WR score in the league this week.
With 13.40 points, Mike Wallace ranked eighth in the league in scoring among WRs this week.
    Gillster17 Regret Tracker

Missed out on an opportunity by leaving the 21.70 points scored by Ben Tate on the bench this week. He outperformed his projected point total by 304.0%, the second-highest percentage in the league.
Should have started Matthew Stafford, who underachieved, but still had more points than the starting QB with 13.20 against a projected 18.28.
Acquired and started the Oakland Raiders Defense, which scored -3.00 points, the fewest of any player in the matchup.
At the QB position, Gillster17 got outscored 15.54 - 7.50 by Boyz II Mendenhall.
Gillster17 had 6 of their 9 starters score less than their projected points.
    What If

If Boyz II Mendenhall played Gillster17 every week, they would be 1-1 this season.
Boyz II Mendenhall would have beaten eight other teams besides Gillster17 this week.
If Boyz II Mendenhall had played every team in the league each week, they would be 10-12.
Gillster17 would have lost to eight other teams besides Boyz II Mendenhall this week.
Had they played each other last week, Boyz II Mendenhall would have lost to Gillster17 85.00 - 67.94.
Gillster17 would be 5-17 if they played every team every week.
    Game Notes

The top players for Boyz II Mendenhall were elite in the matchup, as five of their starters outperformed the leading scorer for Gillster17.
The 43.54-point margin of victory by Boyz II Mendenhall was the third-biggest win in the league this week.
Boyz II Mendenhall had the third-highest point total in the league this week.
With 65.20 points, Gillster17 ranked 10th in the league in scoring this week.
Reggie Wayne did his best in the loss, ranking ninth among all WRs in the league with 13.10 points.
The 49.60 points scored by the WR on Boyz II Mendenhall was the second-biggest combined score by a team's WRs this week.
Wes Welker tried to help Gillster17 in the loss, beating his scoring projection by 47.5%, scoring 9.50 points versus a 6.44-point projection.
Jamaal Charles did not contribute much to the win by Boyz II Mendenhall. He only scored 2.20 points of a projected 12.40.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.

"The best group of RBs in the league this week was on VanDownByTheRivers, which got 55.20 points from the position."

And that was with Forte injured. When my team is back to 100% health my RBs are going to carry this team straight to the playoffs!

"On Like Ndamukong got zero points from Aaron Hernandez, which might have made the difference in the outcome. "

MIGHT? That's the difference from me being 2-0 and 1-1. You're welcome, Fister. You can put down that Hernandez voodoo doll now.

I'm having flashbacks of our draft and you reaching for Hernandez and making several other people that were targeting him, including myself, vocally upset. I'm not upset that you beat me to him now!

    That's blasphemy Tom.

Fantasy football makes watching football more exciting. You watch teams you would never normally watch just to root for your players, making Sundays the most exciting day of the week.

Plus in some cases you can possibly win hundreds of dollars from it. I won my league a few years ago, which paid for my Coachella ticket.

I like football just fine, if I want to make it more exciting I will just drink more beer.

You should try going to games in person, it might help you understand a different perspective.
