Nocturnal Wonderland 2012

royksopp was one of the best sets i've seen all year. wasn't expecting that to go off nearly as well as it did (will upload a 12:00 video and post later). and orbital was sort of lackluster given the environment and crowd and the fact that the coachella set a few years back was one of the more magical hours of my life.

i also really didn't like how they opened with halcyon + heaven mashup. for those who weren't familiar with them it probably seemed cheesy and not indicative of how the rest of the set was gonna go. when they play that towards the end they already have the crowd by the balls, so it goes off a lot better. just my two cents.

Some clips from last weekend. As mentioned before Digweed was insanely loud so there's some clipping but not THAT bad, I didn't notice how loud it was til I was walking away and removed my earplugs.
