Putting it out there: Dire Straits 2013?

Pure speculation on my part, but in thinking about bands that haven't ever re-formed (or said that they plan to), wouldn't Dire Straits be a fantastic pick for a Coachella 2013 surprise? Possible Friday headliner?

I don't know if they're angrily anti-reunion like the Smiths and such, but it'd be great to hear 'Money for Nothing' at the polo fields.

Coachella WAS Oldchella until it became Rapchella. It's much easier to avoid Roger Waters than to dodge the screaming throngs rushing the Jay-Z stage because Beyonce is up there!

I'm not a huge fan of rap or dance, yet this year I had a bigger 'to see list' each day than in any of the last 4 years. Saturday's list was 18 bands IIRC. I come a long long come a long long way, because of the variety of great music and the number of new acts at Coachella. Better than all the UK fests.
