I've seen Tom engage in the time-zone argument roughly 27 times over the years, and he's undefeated. Just concede that you're wrong, Alchemy.

Meanwhile, Suprefan feigns an inability to deduce so as to cover up his most recent shortfalls. I submit this as an endorsement towards a Kickstarter for which to raise money to purchase a Fleshlight for Suprefan so that his constant wanks can stop spraying the board.

It still amazes me when people see PDT during the summer months and wonder if it's a typo that should in fact say PST. Please educate yourself on time zones people.

Anyways back to Olympics. I watched both the Walsh/May and Kessy/Ross matches live, and those were fantastic matches. Really glad that they are both playing for the gold medal and that USA gets the 1-2 on the podium. Really hope Walsh/May beat the Kessy/Ross for a 3rd straight gold medal, great way to finish their careers on top.

MST is what you were looking for, actually (Mountain Standard Time).

EDIT: actually I might be wrong given the above post and my looking at wikipedia, though, many postings online are posting times of MST. MT is probably the most correct given it ignores winter/summer time zone bullshit, but it actually stands for "mountain time" and is not an abbreviation.

WTF!?!?!? Is that a big thing in international b-ball? Melo got hit in the nuts too.
You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.

The guy who cock-knocked Melo said Chris Paul did it to him earlier in the game (which I tend to believe).

Still.. dude should have gone after Paul, not Melo.

Batum, a member of the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, was later asked by Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski why he hit Navarro, and he said, "I wanted to give him a good reason to flop."

Yeah she was; this save near the end was a game-saver:

The US were actually a bit lucky today, as if Japan had been more clinical with their finishing (like the US was) they would probably have won, but it was a fantastic game and the US team should feel really proud of their display through the entire tournament. The Men's Gold Medal Game on Saturday should be a good one as well.

Trey Hardee, the US decathlete who according to NBC's prime time coverage is in 2nd place in the decathlon... if I didn't know better, I'd say that dude looks like a guy that either 1) takes steroids or something VERY pro-hormone, b) LOVES his coke, or iii) Both? Dude was jacked up on something... not natural.

I remember reading that Hardee works out in some odd 60 hours a week. See what happens to you when you do that.

I'm sure many athletes in the Olympics do the same thing. And yet he's the only athlete I've seen thus far who always look like he wanted to rip someone's head off and fuck their trachea.

Mexico's defense was spectacular throughout the entire game, although the Brazilians really have no one but themselves to blame for the loss. Two mental errors lead to each of the goals they conceded, and I felt they were rather wasteful in the final third. I can't believe Oscar put that 93rd minute header over the bar!
