DEPECHE MODE IN OR OUT FOR 2013?

got this link from my friend. it's speculatory at this point, but interesting nonetheless.

they have open dates for both fridays, but they will be in between mexico city shows during week 2.

not sure if these are left open for possible coachella headlining slots or to support additional shows in case of demand.

thoughts?

not sure how i would feel really.
not a big fan of the coachella stage.
like the outdoor and tents much better.
i have always seen them in sports arenas where i can pay through the nose for a close seat.
saw them in rome and budapest in 09 and it was a cool experience but i think it had to do more with being in foreign countries rather than on a soccer pitch.

Whether those dates are right or not (they're not...same thing happened in 2008 and every single date was wrong), they won't be headlining Coachella again. Maybe Bestival, and there is a Rock AM rumor.

Yeah those would suck for me too. They would be in Chicago while I'm at Ultra. Those dates leave it open for them to headline one of the other two days of Ultra but it would be unlikely given the logistics of the tour and the date in Miami 2 months later.

Fake. Like they're going to start their tour in the States. And like they're going to play Detroit. They will probably have a humongous spectacle of a press conference to announce the album and tour, just like they usually do. Anything before that is bullshit.
