Default A Thread for Australian Festivals

I'm moving back to Australia in August, so I'm getting pretty excited about the upcoming festival season. Kind surprised at the lack attention OZ festivals get on this board considering how many Aussies attend Coachella.

The season is looking good so far with these Parklife and Harvest Festival lineups.

I've always wondered how Big Day Out compares (logistics, amenities, vibe, etc.) to some of our beloved American festivals.

There is a solar eclipse festival in Nov I believe. I was infOrmed about it during Fantastifest near Reno. Apparently the organizers of Fantastifest will curate their own stage. Great energy is definitely felt during these gatherings.

I haven't been yet, but my wife has been several times and claims Coachella is the best music festival. No surprise there. Though, she does really like Big Day Out. Hopefully, we will be going next year.
