I should mention I've been avoiding that song forever, so thanks for the exposure... I've heard the chorus just through people singing it and people's ringtones. Maybe a commercial too idk

Rage against the Machine - Rage against the Machine (self titled album)
Can some verify is this is the correct Whitehouse record?

Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica
28 tracks later I still have no idea what just happened. So much randomness put into this record, it felt like I was listening to a cartoon. I was just waiting for something to come out of my computer and pull me into this world that I couldn't even imagine. The album cover kind of freaks me out. Yet it was so different that I could detect all the genius behind it. The guitar and bass would pick up at times but then get thrown off by random vocals by Captain Beefheart. I clearly need to listen to this album a few more times to understand all the praise it has received. I really liked the production and all the instruments used to make this a successful release. It was definitely an adventure.

Klein, looking forward to your Brotha Lynch Hung review, you're going to love this album. Listen to the entire album, its awesome.
The Orb - Pomme Fritz
There are some albums that make you feel awkward after listening to them but in a good one way, then there are some where you just feel plain awkward. This happens to be the case for this EP. There was just something about each song not having a very good flow of its samples. I noticed the songs are pretty flat as well and certain sounds were hurting my ears because they didn't come off right. Alles Ist Schoen would be cool for a space ride because I definitely felt like I was floating away in space. Those health videos where you see cells being divided would work too. That song is so spacey it's got to b used for something. Overall I was kind of bored listening to this.

Brotha Lynch Hung - Season of da Siccness
I'm just not gangster enough for this record. I believe one of his opening requests was too listen to this record high. Well I didn't but I still thought this was a strong rap album. Dead man was pretty intense and loved the conversation where "*****" was probably said in every sentence. Datz Real Gangsta may have made reference to The Shining which was cool or he just felt like saying, "Mr. Redrum, Redrum on the cock and my ***** say." From Welcome 2 Your Own Death to the finish was one of the most awesome parts of the records because it finished out strong. This album is straight up a horror themed record because of the topics and intensity found in the lyrics. I'm probably not going to listen to this while driving around because I don't want to get shot. Flow of this record is great and the lyrics are certainly interesting but presented well.

Nobody but there are some sketch parts. Also can you check to make sure this is the correct album http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/Than...+Stars/5568524
I don't want to review the wrong album. Fair warning this was some strange music that I didn't understand
Whitehouse - Thank Your Lucky Stars
I was pretty impressed how this album managed to hurt my ears and irritate me. The mosquito ring normally does not bother me, but they managed to somehow get to me. Calling this music is cutting it close because it seriously is just some noises put together with some talking in the background. Terrible would be a complement to this record.

ahahahaha who asked him to do a Whitehouse album?

Saetia - A Retrospective
First compilation review and what better to begin with than screamo. Most screamo I hear is pretty awful but Saetia wasn't that bad. I loved Woodwell because it offset the previous tracks by its slower instrumental pace then the album goes right back into screamo. Postlapsaria kicked some serious ass and the screamo and lyrics were certainly appealing. The Burden of Reflecting made me laugh but I think that was because the singer sounded stupid, but that was one of the few flaws. Overall the guitar and rhythm were pretty great, and the vocals were ok but got repetitive. I like this album because it makes me want to punch people.

Ty Segall - Goodbye Bread
I am always a fan of garage rock so adding a little psychedelic to it is a bonus. The guitar was pleasant to listen and I liked the flow throughout the album. This could be one of the albums I see myself listening to if I decided to tan on the beach. Comfortable Home (A True Story) was a good song and had a nice rhythm to it. This was a nice listen and I enjoyed it. Fine as the last song on the album was a good choice. Lyrics are pretty cheesy though

Mission of Burma - Signals, Calls, and Marches. You'll like it, give it a listen.
Lotus Plaza-Spooky Action at a Distance
This album put me into a deep state of relaxation because it was so calm and the guitar echoes and melodies were soothing. Monoliths was one of my favorite songs because it was very easy on my ears. The elements of shoegaze and dream pop were mastered well to create this album which had nice flow to it. This is one of the stronger records of the year but there were some things that didn't impress me. A couple of these songs sound like duplicates from previous Deerhuner and from this record. I wasn't blown away but overall it was still a nice listen, and it's good nap music. I'll listen to them some more to get a better feel, but my mind is pretty set.

It's chill
Taco - After Eight
There was something vibrant, sophisticated, and unique about this album that made it very intriguing. This album doesn't have an 80s feel when Singin in the Rain opens up but rather a early to mid 20th century feel. Then there's that song Puttin' on the Ritz that just cannot get out of my head because it's so catchy. Not a big fan of his stage name, Taco, because it's just going make people think of tacos. As the album progresses through it starts to lose some of it's magic because the tracks start to sound more alike. I still dig how he brings back a sound from an earlier time period and adds his touch to it. Good pick. I love this album cover so much!
